Alenda Weisse + MF Cervejas Artesanais | Früchte Weisse

Alenda Früchte Weisse was born from the union of Taberna MF and Alenda Weisse. We have something in common, which is bringing not just a beer, but an experience. It's manufacturing process followed the same traditional methods used in Baviera's beers, including the decoction process and open tanks fermentation (Dekoktionsverfahren und Gärung im offener Bottich). During the many production phases, three different yeasts were used: Hefeweizen, Brettanomyces and Lactobacillus which was extracted naturally from the malt, besides that we used a concentrated cherry juice which was manufactured at our brewery. It's a traditionally contemporary beer and only should be consumed by open minded people which are open to new gustatory challenges, otherwise we do not advise to open this bottle. • Beer: Früchte Weisse
  • Style: Fruit Lambic (28C. Wild Specialty Beer - 23F. Fruit Lambic with cherries and fermented with Lactobacillus and Brettanomyces)
  • ABV: 6.1%
  • IBU: 8
  • Breweries:
  • Look: red-tainted yellow color, turbid, with low formation of a white head.
  • Aroma: low fruity aroma is present, reminding of red fruits, mainly acerola and cherry. More present are the aromas arising from the brettanomyces influence, like a low lactic acidity and a very low cellar aroma.
  • Taste: the fruitiness is even less present in the taste, bringing a very faint raspberry remembrance. More prominent is the wheat presence, bringing balance to the median acidity.
  • Mouthfeel: low body, high carbonation and a dry and short finish.
  • Overall: A great partnership of two great breweries created this excellent fruit lambic. Very high drinkability.
This beer review was made by somebody which is studying every day to be a better beer drinker but, despite that, isn't a specialist or a beer sommelier. In advance, pardon for any gaffe. If you have any corrections or suggestions, please mail me.
