Japas Cervejaria | Oishii

Japas Cervejaria | Oishii

With an unmistakable flavor, ginger is used in the japanese gastronomy, both on dishes and on teas and drinks. And it's this ingredient that is the special touch in our Witbier. A delicate, refreshing and super flavorful style, that also has wheat and orange peels on its recipe. The name of this beer means "tasty" in japanese, and it was brewed specially to harmonize with light dishes, making you "Oishii" at the end of each sip. ;) (Source: Loosely translated from the beer's label.)

  • Beer: Oishii
  • Style: Witbier (30A. Spice, Herb, or Vegetable Beer - 24A. Witbier with ginger and orange peel)
  • ABV: 4.7%
  • IBU: 15
  • Brewery:
  • Look: pale yellow color, semi-turbid, with a great formation of a white head;
  • Aroma: very present coriander and ginger notes. In a lower level, sweet malty notes, reminding grain, are present;
  • Taste: on its taste, the coriander is even more noticeable, backboned by light citric notes and very light malty notes. The ginger also is present, but here in the form of perfume-like floral notes;
  • Mouthfeel: low to medium body, high carbonation and a dry and short finish;
  • Overall: very good witbier. Very balanced and very pleasant to drink.
