Salvador Brewing Co. | Desmond Juicy APA

Desmond Doss was an United Stated Army medic that, during the World War II, refused to carry a weapon. During the Battle of Okinawa, he worked at the medical ward and saved approximately 75 lives. Desmond Juicy APA pays tribute to this warrior with a juicy and aromatic American Pale Ale, which brings on its recipe Citra, Mosaic and Motueka hops. Curious? Come to the front! • Beer: Desmond Juicy APA
  • Style: Juicy APA (18B. American Pale Ale)
  • ABV: 5.2%
  • IBU: 40
  • Brewery:
  • Look: yellow color, turbid, with a good white head formation that leaves marks on the glass;
  • Aroma: fruity, sweet aroma, bringing remembrance of peach, mainly, but also orange and pineapple;
  • Taste: following its aroma, its taste is mainly fruity, reminding of peach. Light floral notes, as well as light peppery notes, with a black pepper feel.. Medium bitterness, without harsh. The end of the sip leaves a light floral on the palate;
  • Mouthfeel: Medium body, medium-high carbonation and a dry but short finish. Fluffy, silk-like;
  • Overall: Really good Juicy APA. On this can, if it makes sense, it’s even better than it was on tap. Hoppy and delicious, but without the higher ABV counterpart that an IPA would have.
