Salvador Brewing Co. | Judy Mango Milkshake IPA

Salvador Brewing Co. | Judy Mango Milkshake IPA

A beer that was originally created as a collaborative beer between Salvador Brewing Co. + Ruradélica Ales. Judy was a war heroine. With its sharp nose, she helped soldiers to find water in an island and also found the best aromas to make a really different beer. That's how this New England IPA with Mango and Vanilla was created. With a generous Galaxy, Citra and Mosaic addition, it will make you wander in a sensorial explosion that will be marked by this experience. (Source: Loosely translated from the beer's label.)

  • Beer: M
  • Style: Milkshake IPA (29A. Fruit Beer - 21A. American IPA with mango and lactose)
  • ABV: 5.9%
  • IBU: 59
  • Brewery:
  • Look: yellow color, turbid, with a good frothy white head formation that leaves marks on the glass;
  • Aroma: fruity, sweet aroma, bringing a mango presence, as well as unripe fruit ones. In a lower level, vanilla notes can be perceived. In an ever lower level, herbal notes are present.
  • Taste: the taste follows the aroma, bringing mango notes. The bitterness is very low, but gives support to the beer. Low presence of herbal notes.
  • Mouthfeel: Medium-high body, medium carbonation and a dry but short finish;
  • Overall: Good Milkshake IPA from Salvador. Mango is really present, in a very pleasant way, but balanced as well.
