Salvador Brewing Co. + Overhop Brewing Co. | Skydive - Sour Juicy IPA Maracujá

Salvador Brewing Co. + Overhop Brewing Co. | Skydive - Sour Juicy IPA Maracujá

Overhop entered Salvador's Bunker gates and created an unique recipe in a four hands effort: malt, lots of hops, lactose and organic passion fruit! With an acidity in the right level and balanced with a velvety body, we give you the Skydive Sour Juicy IPA Maracujá! (Source: Loosely translated from the beer's label.)

  • Beer: Skydive - Sour Juicy IPA Boysenberry
  • Style: Sour IPA (29A. Fruit Beer - 21A. American IPA with passion fruit)
  • ABV: 6%
  • IBU: 45
  • Breweries:
  • Look: yellow color, semi-turbid, with a great frothy white head formation that leaves marks on the glass;
  • Aroma: in the foreground, there is a strong fruity presence, bringing remembrance of sweetened passion fruit juice. In the background there is a lower presence of lactic acidity notes.
  • Taste: very fruity from the start, with passion fruit notes. In the background, there’s a light malt presence, which gives complexity to the beer. Also, there’s a light herbal presence. Very low bitterness. The end of the sip puckers the mouth a little bit.
  • Mouthfeel: Medium body, medium-high carbonation and a dry but short finish;
  • Overall: Very good Sour IPA from Salvador. The sourness is more dominant than in the Boysenberry version.
