Salvador Brewing Co. | P-47 New England IPA

Salvador Brewing Co. | P-47 New England IPA

P-47 was a Giant in its time. Its size and fire power provoked terror on the German lines. With the same destruction power of this plane, this New England IPA arrives at the battlefield. Our P-47 has abusive loads of the Galaxy and Sabro hop varieties, responsible for an eruption of citric and tropical aromas like mango, passion fruit, pineapple and a soft coconut note. With its turbid and juicy look, it highlights each integral element in a perfect balance of flavors. Fasten your seat belts!!! (Source: Loosely translated from the beer's label.)

  • Beer: P-47 New England IPA
  • Style: New England IPA (21B. Specialty IPA: New England IPA)
  • ABV: 7.3%
  • IBU: 60
  • Brewery:
  • Look: yellow color, turbid, with a good white head formation that leaves marks on the glass;
  • Aroma: fruity notes are really present, reminding of passion fruit and mango. As the beer heated on the glass, very light coconut notes were perceived;
  • Taste: besides the fruitiness that was present on the aroma and that is also present on the taste, reminding of mango and pineapple, floral notes can also be perceived. As the beer heated on the glass, very light alcohol notes were noticed. Very light resinous notes;
  • Mouthfeel: Medium-high body, medium-high carbonation and a dry but short finish;
  • Overall: Great New England IPA, keeping the Salvador’s high standards. Could be a tad bit more velvety, but it’s a delicious beer.
