Salvador Brewing Co. | Spitfire Session IPL

P-47 was a Giant in its time. Its size and fire power provoked terror on the German lines. With the same destruction power of this plane, this New England IPA arrives at the battlefield. Our P-47 has abusive loads of the Galaxy and Sabro hop varieties, responsible for an eruption of citric and tropical aromas like mango, passion fruit, pineapple and a soft coconut note. With its turbid and juicy look, it highlights each integral element in a perfect balance of flavors. Fasten your seat belts!!! (Source: Loosely translated from the beer's label.)

  • Beer: Spitfire Session IPL
  • Style: Session IPL (2A. International Pale Lager)
  • ABV: 4.7%
  • IBU: 45
  • Brewery:
  • Look: yellow color, transparent, with a medium white head formation that leaves marks on the glass;
  • Aroma: fruity notes are really present, reminding of passion fruit and peach. Light herbal notes were perceived as well.
  • Taste: on its taste, it’s less fruity and more herbal, even with a secondary resinousity. The fruitiness reminds lime a little. As the beer heats on the glass, peach notes can be perceived.
  • Mouthfeel: Medium-low body, medium-high carbonation and a dry but short finish. Crisp;
  • Overall: Great beer. Hoppy, with a very high drinkability, but still with a character.
