Salvador Brewing Co. | The Special Agent - New England Coffee IPA

Since Fuchs leaked the Project Manhattan plans, things aren't going well. CIA has been let known about the existence of many russian spies and sympathizers, leading to a witch hunt. The special agent "The Dude" is recruited by the CIA to execute a confidential mission: transport a valuable shipping to an abandoned factory. (Source: Loosely translated from the beer's label.)

  • Beer: The Special Agent - New England Coffee IPA
  • Style: Coffee IPA (30A. Spice, Herb, or Vegetable Beer - 21A. American IPA with coffee)
  • ABV: 7.0%
  • IBU: 60
  • Brewery:
  • Look: golden color, turbid, with a medium white head formation that leaves marks on the glass;
  • Aroma: coffee notes, with a fruity feel, are noticeable. Disputing for the attention, fruity notes are present as well.
  • Taste: on its taste, the coffee notes have a lower strength, being more subtle, but lasting for a long time, along with the fruity hop notes, reminding orange. The end of the sip puckers the mouth in a very light way.
  • Mouthfeel: medium body, medium-high carbonation and a dry and short finish;
  • Overall: Really good Coffee IPA. This one presents the coffee in a subtler way than The Spy, probably because the fruitiness of the coffee blends better with the fruitiness of the hops.
