Seasons Craft Brewery | Hop Venture

In Hop Venture, the goal is drinkability. A Session IPA that is light, balanced and with fruity notes that will make you want to listen to more stories about how we managed to keep hops and cows in perfect harmony. (Source: Loosely translated from the beer's label.)

  • Beer: Hop Venture
  • Style: Session IPA (21B. Specialty IPA: Session-strength American IPA)
  • ABV: 4.3%
  • IBU: 25
  • Brewery:
  • Look: yellow color, transparent, with a great white head formation that leaves marks on the glass;
  • Aroma: yellow fruit notes, like passion fruit and pineapple, are quite present. A light herbal appears in the background;
  • Taste: the flavor follows the aroma, bringing some fruitiness as well, reminding of pineapple and lychee. There are some light herbal notes in the background of the taste as well, bringing remembrance of mint. The bitterness is low, but it’s assertive and without harshness;
  • Mouthfeel: Low to medium body, high carbonation and a dry and short finish;
  • Overall: One of the best Session IPAs that I drank. Light, refreshing and with high drinkability without being dull.
