Suricato Ales | Palessauro #2.0

Suricato Ales | Palessauro #2.0

We revived the acidity from the Jurassic period. Our Palessauro brings back on its DNA the bitterness from the lost world, combining very refreshing fruity flavors. Now, no meteor will extinct this hoppy and sour beer. Honey, i'm home! (Source: Loosely translated from the beer's label.)

  • Beer: Palessauro #2.0
  • Style: Sour Ale (28B. Mixed-Fermentation Sour Beer - 18B. American Pale Ale fermented with Lactobacillus)
  • ABV: 5.5%
  • IBU: 40
  • Brewery:
  • Look: golden color, clear, with good formation of a white head that leaves maeks on the glass;
  • Aroma: at first, fruity notes, reminding of white grape, appeared as soon as I put my nose on the beer. Passion fruit notes also could be perceived. Light floral notes presence.
  • Taste: a sip on the beer brings a mix of floral and fruity notes, reminding of white grape (sparkling wine-like). Passion fruit notes were present, but as a secondary descriptor. Low-to-medium acidity.
  • Mouthfeel: Light-to-medium body, medium carbonation and a dry and short finish;
  • Overall: Really good hoppy sour ale. Very high drinkability in a very enjoyable beer. Light, but not without complexity.
