UX Brew Words Of Denderah is a Juicy Imperial IPA in collaboration with Cervejaria Dogma. It has a fruity aroma presenting yellow fruit in the foreground, medium body and 9% ABV. On its flavor, there is a fruit explosion along with a big load of Citra, Vic Secret and Simcoe hops. Its aftertaste is hoppy and dry. (Source: Loosely translated from the brewery's social network.)
- Beer: Words of Denderah
- Style: Juicy Imperial IPA (22A. Double IPA)
- ABV: 9.0%
- IBU: 50
- Breweries:
- Look: yellow color, semi-turbid, with great formation of a creamy white head that leaves marks on the glass.
- Aroma: a sparkling wine-like aroma is the main perception that comes from this beer. White grape notes also comes to mind.
- Taste: very fruity, bringing remembrance of yellow fruits, mainly pineapple. The bitterness is very assertive, in a medium-high intensity. Peach notes are present in the background. Resinous notes are present in a medium level. Alcoholic notes are present as well, in a minor level. The aftertaste is pretty bitter, but without harsh.
- Mouthfeel: Medium-high body, high carbonation and a dry and long finish.
- Overall: Good Double IPA, but the notes that I perceived as being “sparkling wine-like” weren’t quite a match in an IPA.
