Mk2 was a grenade that was used a lot during World War II. With its characteristic shape, it received the “pineapple” nickname during the confrontations. Making an allusion to the Piña Colada cocktail, we incorporated the already traditional New England IPA to the power of the pineapple and the coconut in an explosion of tastes and aromas.
It’s impossible to think in Japan without reminding of so many “cute” characters from mangas and animes. And there, all this cuteness has a name: Kawaii. Besides that, it’s a culture that became a lifestyle with so many adepts around the world and that now became inspiration to our beer. It also means something innocent, pure, but not exclusively sweet, that’s why we created a Smoothie NE IPA, with a light bitterness, tasty, velvety and with a touch of blackberry and raspberry.
P-47 was a Giant in its time. Its size and fire power provoked terror on the German lines. With the same destruction power of this plane, this New England IPA arrives at the battlefield. Our P-47 has abusive loads of the Galaxy and Sabro hop varieties, responsible for an eruption of citric and tropical aromas like mango, passion fruit, pineapple and a soft coconut note. With its turbid and juicy look, it highlights each integral element in a perfect balance of flavors. Fasten your seat belts!!!
New recipe from the Milkshake series, Summer Edition is a New England IPA that, besides the lactose and apple juice addition that the previous reciped had, it also has mango juice.
We take seriously our fun way of making the Hop It Up! We decided to add beer on the hops and the result was this New England IPA with Columbus, Mosaic, Amarillo and Citra.
Moonrock is a 8.4% ABV NE (Double) IPA created to extract the max of the hops’ psychedelia, used in three shapes: extract, whole cones and lupulin powder. Each of these elements brings a different dimension of aroma and flavor to the beer: the extract reinforces the aroma in a resinous and concentrated way; the whole cone hops create citric aromas and flavors, reminding orange peel and tropical fruits; and the lupulin powder throws all this freshness to a whole another level, maximizing the aromas in an extremely clean way. The label represents in a faithful way the sensations of whom drinks the first sip of Moonrock.
110 years ago, on June 18, the Kasato Maru disembarked on the Santos’ port, bringing the first 781 japanese immigrants to our country. Our release is a tribute to all the immigrants and descendants that inherited and spreaded this culture that totally influenced our cultural formation. Our beer will be a New England IPA, refreshing, hopped and with 6.5% ABV, with Dekopon addition on its recipe. A fruit of japanese origin that arrived as an “immigrant” in our country.
A 10% ABV NE Triple IPA, extremely complex, made with the Loral and Enigma hops, which brings resemblance of pinot gris grapes, melon and mango.
Day Tripper is a NE IPA with the experimental hop HBC 472. This hop, at first, has a similar profile with other hops that are already well known in IPAs, with citric shades of grapefruit and lemon zest which, by itself, would make a beautiful and fresh beer, ideal to be tasted in sunny days. However, when used in almost irresponsibly big amounts, the beer starts to develop a fruity and lightly woody character, which looks like as if we put a dense coconut liquor for some months in Bourbon Whisky barrels.
The tenth beer that I brewed.
A style that is quite a challenge to be made in a proper way.
Also, one of the most expensive recipes that I brewed.
